Blacktail Enterprises, now operating as Rain Forest Sawmill, is a private, BC-owned softwood sawmill located in Black Creek in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Surrounded by the communities of Courtenay, Cumberland, Campbell River and Merville, our lumber mill is located about halfway up Vancouver Island on the west coast of BC, Canada. We saw and sell wood. We have a Wood Mizer bandsaw and chain-saw-operated split saw. We are also currently adding other machinery to our lumber mill operations.
We welcome your visit to the sawmill premises, but please call us first at (+1) 250.337.5161 to make sure we are expecting you. That way, we can have someone on hand to help you, without the need to stop production.
